Our speaker series brings together junior scholars working on finance topics in developing countries.

For the last four years, we have served as a forum for open discussion designed specifically for early stage work.

We are very excited for the 2025 WEFIDEV-RFS-CEPR conference on March 28 & 29 at LSE, London.

This will be the first of three annual conferences with a dual submission option with RFS.

Deadline is December 1st. For all details see our call for papers.

OUR MISSION

We launched WEFIDEV in early 2020 to support junior researchers in sharing their early stage work when meeting in-person was impossible.

Now, as we enter our fourth year, we look forward to continuing to build this community and provide a forum for productive discussion.

ABOUT US

WEFIDEV is run by Giorgia Barboni, Kim Fe Cramer, Sean Higgins and Nicola Limodio, with organizational support from Natalie Theys.
